    Dear Wedding Party

We are celebrating a very special day that our bridal couple has chosen to share with you, their family and friends.  It is very important that we all do everything in our power to make the day special and memorable for them. A shipboard wedding may be a new experience for you, so we ask that you review the information below to ensure a stress free and safe day for everyone.

    Review The Information CLICK HERE!

Boarding: Priority boarding is provided for bridal couples, as well as their guests, being married on the day of sailing.  The time to board the ships is controlled by US Customs and Immigration.  No one is allowed to board the ship until US Customs and Immigration clear the ship. Due to the terrorist attacks on our country, US Customs and Immigration have increased security measures. In the event the delay in boarding affects the time of the wedding, the wedding will be delayed accordingly.

Guests:   We ask for all guests to be at the Pier at 10:30 a.m. to begin the check-in process so once the ship has cleared, we will be able to priority board before all other cruising passengers.  Guests who do not arrive at the time we board will have to make their own way on the ship.

Non-Sailing GuestsAll non-sailing guests are to be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal.  The bride and groom submitted a guest list for all non-sailing guests including your names and date of birth.  You will need to provide your state issued photo ID at the time of check in, please have it available. You will leave your ID with Security in the terminal and be given a guest pass to board the ship.  Non-sailing guests are welcome to tour the ship until the ceremony time. All non-sailing guests must debark the ship immediately after the reception. When leaving the ship, you will need to redeem your ID in the ship’s terminal.

Sailing Guests:  All sailing guests (except the bride and groom) should be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal. Time permitting, sailing guests may have an opportunity to go to their stateroom, however, the cabin may not be ready. Only the bride and groom’s cabin is guaranteed to be ready. The bride and groom may carry on a garment bag in addition to a carry-on bag. Only one hand-carry-on bag will be permitted for sailing guests and must fit through the security machine. Luggage not to exceed 24”w x 16”h. All other bags must be checked with the Porters.  Please ensure that you have everything you need for the wedding and reception, as you will not see your checked bags until after the reception. Please ensure that all ticket documents have been completed prior to arrival at the pier to expedite check-in and have proper boarding documents available. Once onboard, you may go to your stateroom.  If you lose your way, any Carnival Cruise Lines staff member can direct you.

The Ceremony and Reception: Please ensure that you are aware of the time that you need to be at the ceremony and that you know the location.  Maps of the ship are available at the Information Desk. Please be on time. Delays on the part of the wedding couple and/or the wedding guests may result in limited ceremony or reception time.  All ceremonies are performed before the ship sails and all ceremony times are approximate and can be delayed due to unforeseen events.

On behalf of our wedding couple, Carnival Cruise Lines, and our wedding staff, we thank you for your support and for sharing in this special day.
